
Seven women set out in the very first Dakar Rally 47 years ago. These French women were formidable racers in a sea of testosterone in the inaugural Paris-Dakar Rally.
Resting in the sunshine in the middle of a ride, one can feel a sense of wholeness that feels almost too easy to achieve. The joys of riding a motorcycle cannot be captured with one smile, one photograph, or one sentence. The energy is such that echoes on and on through time, ebbing and flowing with our personal goals and abilities… but it never fades away.
