Ueda Helmet Sculptures

Shuhei Ueda, located in Japan, is doing some very interesting things in the way of helmet art under the name Ueda Helmets including iconic race replicas. Instead of painting helmets that are already manufactured, he’s sculpting helmets with human features in/on them. Shuhei was born in 1980 in Hiroshima, Japan. He aquired his M.F.A. at Osaka University of Arts in 2005. Below he is modeling his Kenny Roberts themed helmet. 1969 Triumph/BSA Chopper: Electric Alice

When Daniel said “I’m going to ride this thing out of here tonight or tomorrow” I couldn’t help but feel pessimistic due to my own failures during my Monster build.  But later that night he was yelling, “DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY OIL!?”  He worked quietly and swiftly to complete it by that night.
