I put on all my gear and took the Honda RC-51 out of the truck today… had some fun on riding on the salt flats. Set up my camera on timer for this shot… used my gloves for a tripod. ;P

Monster Project: Phase 1
Phase 1 of my Monster project completed!
There she is, in all her glory… waiting for the ignition switcheroo, part replacements and upgrades in thez foreground.
I’ve wrangled up master cylinders, replacement forks off a 748 (stock ones have no adjustment), a second caliper and two rotors to convert it to a dual front disc brake system.
After hooking up the new ignition I turned the key to my new bike for the first time. All the idiot lights came on, and I hit the ignition just to see if she would turn over. So far, so good. Tonight, draining all the fluids and trying to fire her up.
