The lovely Pandora and I went for an evening ride on this overcast and warm Ventura day. Soft clouds make for great photos, it’s a giant softbox in the sky dampening and washing all the sun around. (For those that don’t know, a soft box is used in professional lighting for video and photo shoots to make light more even and spread out.)
These shots were taken at Serra Cross Park above Downtown Ventura, CA. To the right of the images there’s a giant cross overlooking the ocean. I can see this spot from my house, which is pretty cool.

I’m so excited to announce the project that I’ve been working on for two years… a book all about badass motorcycling women! In the MotoLady’s Book of Women Who Ride you’ll meet 74 of the most influencial motorcyclists of the last century. Motorcycle heroes, trailblazers, and record-breakers like Jessi Combs, Shayna Texter, Laia Sanz, Gloria Tramontin-Struck, the Van Buren sisters, and more can be found inside the 184 pages of this hard cover book celebrating motorcycling women!
