My friend Chad took this photo of me on my first big ride through Mount Laguna and Sunset Highway. A wildfire had just started the morning we left on our ride, and by the time we arrived clouds of smoke were blotting out the sun. We were the last ones on the road before the fire fighters closed the highway. Probably the best day of my life. Photo credit to Chad Nelson.
