Seven women set out in the very first Dakar Rally 47 years ago. These French women were formidable racers in a sea of testosterone in the inaugural Paris-Dakar Rally.
Lots of bikes out and about today and a lovely 90 mile jaunt on the Maxim. Ended up stopping at Skyline Tavern because there were so many people there (about 4 more than pictured).
Best thing about riding today (besides riding in general) was getting to wear my short leather gloves. So much more comfy than the winter gloves I have.
