The Greatest Escape: Ride & Event for Charity
You may or may not know that Asbestos-caused Mesothelioma is the cancer that killed the motorcycle culture’s beloved Steve McQueen. Out of that tragedy, the folks at the Pacific Meso Center in Los Angeles have organized an event to help celebrate how far we’ve come in treating the condition, and to raise funds for research to continue helping sufferers.
Sofi Tsingos’ GT Cafe for Cause Unveil
This weekend in Dallas, TX, the awe-inspiring Sofi Tsingos unveiled the cafe racer build that she’s raffling off for charity at the Gas Monkey Bar n Grill.
Helmets for Heroines on April 25th of 2014 in at Karmarama in London- celebrating lady riders and providing aid for those with Breast Cancer in need of care. Starts with a motorcycle ride through London, followed by an art show with beautiful helmets. In a male dominated world, The Gabriel Hounds want to celebrate women on two wheels. GT Cafe for Cause Site Launch
Sofi Tsingos has launched the website for her awesome project, GT Cafe for Cause! After her father George was diagnosed with Cancer she started this project to help keep his mind off the battle. The idea is that instead of just building a cafe bike for herself or a customer, she built it for someone to win and enjoy in a raffle for charity. The tickets are only $25 apiece and proceeds go to cancer research. Check out the GT Cafe for Cause raffle page for more info.

It sometimes feels like a bummer posting this stuff- but it’s a reality of the motorcycle world. Trevor Ware travelled the America on a vintage Honda- a 1974 CB 550. Recently he was rear ended by a drunk driver and is in a coma. They are selling shirts, accepting donations, and definitely appreciate any reposting of this graphic.
