Maybe I’m just arriving late to the party, but holy guacamole this Ducati 1199 Panigale S retro-moderned build by MotoPuro is pretty rad… The Ducati Elite II was built by MotoPuro, a Ducati dealership located in the netherlands (website). Simone’s Ivory Monster
It’s really cool seeing other retro-ish Monster builds out there. Simone de Ranieri from Pisa, Italy sent me these photos of his Ducati Monster build. Much like the beginnings of my bike, his was a little rough around the edges. Definitely something to be excited about in the ‘after’ state, however. Here are some photos from the process. Nice 60’s style Ducati logo. Gotta dig the black accents on the bottom part of the tank that give it slightly different (unique) lines when back on the bike. Retro Modern Bell Bullitt Coming Soon
Looks like Bell decided to join the retro modern full face helmet club- they recently announced the Bullitt, modeled after the original Bell Star helmet from 40 or so years ago, and so far it’s been shown in three color variations. They do have a really awesome look to them. I’ve yet to find out just how safe that tiny little chin strap will be… the jury is still out in my opinion.
