Retro Modern Bell Bullitt Coming Soon
Looks like Bell decided to join the retro modern full face helmet club- they recently announced the Bullitt, modeled after the original Bell Star helmet from 40 or so years ago, and so far it’s been shown in three color variations. They do have a really awesome look to them. I’ve yet to find out just how safe that tiny little chin strap will be… the jury is still out in my opinion. Ueda Helmet Sculptures
Shuhei Ueda, located in Japan, is doing some very interesting things in the way of helmet art under the name Ueda Helmets including iconic race replicas. Instead of painting helmets that are already manufactured, he’s sculpting helmets with human features in/on them. Shuhei was born in 1980 in Hiroshima, Japan. He aquired his M.F.A. at Osaka University of Arts in 2005. Below he is modeling his Kenny Roberts themed helmet.
