Hey MotoLady, I just bought my first bike and I’m trying to gear up the right way while still looking stylish. I’m in love with the Uglybro’s Twiggy and Ton-up pants but they’re made in Korea and kinda pricey. Know of anything great lady’s motorcycle pants sold in the states?

Bonjour! I actually got a pair of Icon Heartbreaker riding jeans with Kevlar reinforced knees a couple months ago and have worn them a lot (on and off the bike). I’ll be honest, I don’t think the photo they have does them justice. They’re boot cut stretchy jeans with thick knees, and they’re super flattering. Plus you could almost buy four pairs for the price of the Ugly Bro’s pants.

Gear update: Icon Reign Boots I feel it necessary to update on how the boots are fairing. I’ve had them just over a month, worn them 8 billion times, and taken them “off roading”. Do I look excited? It’s because these are the baddest ass motorcycle boots I’ve ever had the pleasure of putting on my feet. Icon ”Reign” women’s waterproof armored motorcycle boots are $160 bucks, fully protective, and fully waterproof. They look good under jeans, over jeans, with motorcycle gear or with your daily wear. They are comfortable as hell, classy, and again… waterproof. They even have a velcro bit on the end of the zipper that makes them easier to grab, and fits between the closure at the top of the boot for secure… Continue Reading »

Took this photo for MotoCorsa facebook special- the Dainese City Bikers jacket. Removable CE armor, big zippered pockets and flattering fit. Perfect for those who ride in warmer climates and want to look a little less like you just landed your space station around the corner. …Not that theres anything wrong with that. Aliens need love too.

The Road Rash Queen

Brittany Morrow is a moto lady who was ripped off the bike by heavy wind while riding pillion on the back of a sport bike. When people argue with me about the importance of gear, I quote instances like this.  55 percent body coverage of third degree burns, severed tendons in my left pinky finger, a severely dislocated right big toe, and a large amount of blood loss; what really slowed the healing process was what I experienced in the hospital. Indirect results of the accident due to a prolonged hospital stay:… Continue Reading »
