Riding the Brammo Empulse
Brammo came by MotoCorsa to give the crew some demo rides on their electric motorcycles- namely the Brammo Empulse R. (Don’t mind the censored jacket blurryness- I couldn’t very well show you Icon’s Spring 2013 line this early, now could I?!) What is the difference between this bike and other electric rides of a similar form? Well, this one is a six speed… and it can do over 100 MPH. My friend Adrian Capurso, who lent me the truck and RC-51 for the Bonneville Salt Flat trip, came to Portland yesterday! Today we took him for a fall ride and surprise– it ended with us getting soaked. We were able to hit some good roads before the rain and Adrian was stoked… twisties galore for the RC. We went to Multnomah Falls, drove down Historic Highway 30, and took the freeway back after it started the Portland rain.

Chris came over today to help us wrench on Justin’s bike. New 4 into 1 exhaust meant new header gaskets, cutting/dremmeling out the airbox, installing pod air filters, and re-jetting the carbs. I took photos with my real camera that I’m sure will end up here, but in the mean time here’s some cool instagram shots.
