Review: Icon Hella Leather Jacket
What pops into your head when you hear “Icon Motosports”? Often times it’s armored vests, bright colors and loud emblems. Women’s gear has usually been cluttered with pink, stars, flowers, swirlies and countless other “frilly” things. Not anymore. Monster Project Riding Position
Monster Project unseen shot- me on the Monster with it’s new front end, clip ons, and rear sets. This will be the final riding position. I’m getting all excited because this week I should be getting back my frame all chopped with the new steering stop in place. I dropped off my wheels to Bridge City Cycles day before yesterday to get them powder coated goooold! It’s all coming together.
Icon 1000 Photoshoot
About five months ago I got an email from Thad Jackson, Icon’s Art Director, saying “I need a female to gear up and ride a motorcycle in a lifestyle photoshoot. Nothing fancy or technical, just riding. Interested?”
Lots of bikes out and about today and a lovely 90 mile jaunt on the Maxim. Ended up stopping at Skyline Tavern because there were so many people there (about 4 more than pictured). Best thing about riding today (besides riding in general) was getting to wear my short leather gloves. So much more comfy than the winter gloves I have.
