Makeshift magazine Issue 2: Mobility, featuring a motolady on the front cover. Makeshift is a quarterly magazine about creativity in unlikely places, from the favelas of Rio to the alleys of Delhi. These are environments where resources may be scarce, but where ingenuity is used incessantly for survival, enterprise, and a self-expression. Makeshift is about people, the things they make, and the context they make them in.

Submission from startellie– here’s a photo of me on my 1982 honda dualsport, I took it on a 2,400 mile camping trip this summer solo to Nova Scotia. It’s my first bike. I’m moving out to the NorthWest this summer after graduating college, mainly because I just want to ride out there. Hit me up when you’re in the Pacific NW, lady! We’ll RIDE! Also, awesome photo and thank you for submitting. 🙂
