My friend Adrian Capurso, who lent me the truck and RC-51 for the Bonneville Salt Flat trip, came to Portland yesterday! Today we took him for a fall ride and surprise– it ended with us getting soaked. We were able to hit some good roads before the rain and Adrian was stoked… twisties galore for the RC. We went to Multnomah Falls, drove down Historic Highway 30, and took the freeway back after it started the Portland rain.
I managed to get video of Bill Dixon’s second run at the XDL Stunt Championship finals. He won the championship… fourth year in a row! Even if you’re not into motorcycle stunting this is worth a watch. Bike control is one of the most important aspects of being a good rider… does that make BIll the best?! Photos from the Building Speed art exhibit at Graeter Art Gallery (on July 5th, 2012). It was really packed opening day and therefore hard to get good photos. On display were Dave Roper’s 1960s leathers, 50s Langlitz racing leathers, historical photos, motorcycles, and some awesome shots my friend Anthony Mautemps took (and countless other goodies). Anthony helped organize this whole show.
