This is hilarious, stupid, and horrible all at once. Rider fakes fatal injuries to red flag a race… it wasn’t enough just to fail. He had to put himself in the way of other riders potentially actually causing a fatal collision. Idiot.

My absolute favorite shot from the entire trip… Mark Bjorklund taking off for his return run on the short international track. Green flag in the background and all. He’s on the Sodium Distortion Ducati S4Rs 1000cc A-AG class salt racer by Super Rat from Bellingham, WA. (Click the link for more a closer look at the bike on MotoCorsa’s website.) He knocked out a record that stood since 1975 at 166.3mph (267.6kph).
