Ueda Helmet Sculptures

Shuhei Ueda, located in Japan, is doing some very interesting things in the way of helmet art under the name Ueda Helmets including iconic race replicas. Instead of painting helmets that are already manufactured, he’s sculpting helmets with human features in/on them. Shuhei was born in 1980 in Hiroshima, Japan. He aquired his M.F.A. at Osaka University of Arts in 2005. Below he is modeling his Kenny Roberts themed helmet.
