Question: Any recommendations on protective Denim for women? Wanting to get my girlfriend some, but no one seems to make any that would fit to a woman’s body. Kevlar doesn’t flex. Figured you would be the one to point me in the right direction.

Review: Icon Hella Leather Jacket
What pops into your head when you hear “Icon Motosports”? Often times it’s armored vests, bright colors and loud emblems. Women’s gear has usually been cluttered with pink, stars, flowers, swirlies and countless other “frilly” things. Not anymore. Icon isn’t limiting themselves to elaborate designs, proved true with the Icon ladies leather Hella jacket. Walking into Cycle Gear as a new rider to check out motorcycle jackets, everything in sight was a bunch of crap. It’s like walking into a whirlwind of 80’s fine art snobbery full of bright colored shapes and… Continue Reading »
Icon 1000 Federal Jacket Review
Hey MotoLady, I just bought my first bike and I’m trying to gear up the right way while still looking stylish. I’m in love with the Uglybro’s Twiggy and Ton-up pants but they’re made in Korea and kinda pricey. Know of anything great lady’s motorcycle pants sold in the states?
Bonjour! I actually got a pair of Icon Heartbreaker riding jeans with Kevlar reinforced knees a couple months ago and have worn them a lot (on and off the bike). I’ll be honest, I don’t think the photo they have does them justice. They’re boot cut stretchy jeans with thick knees, and they’re super flattering. Plus you could almost buy four pairs for the price of the Ugly Bro’s pants.
Gear update: Icon Reign Boots I feel it necessary to update on how the boots are fairing. I’ve had them just over a month, worn them 8 billion times, and taken them “off roading”. Okay but seriously, I’ve probably worn them 70% of the last month, on and off the bike. Plus yesterday they were worn gallumphing through mud on a trip into the woods to shoot some big guns. They did wonderfully. These are still the most comfortable pair of shoes I own, and one of the most protective. My Puma… Continue Reading »
Do I look excited? It’s because these are the baddest ass motorcycle boots I’ve ever had the pleasure of putting on my feet. Icon ”Reign” women’s waterproof armored motorcycle boots are $160 bucks, fully protective, and fully waterproof. They look good under jeans, over jeans, with motorcycle gear or with your daily wear. They are comfortable as hell, classy, and again… waterproof. They even have a velcro bit on the end of the zipper that makes them easier to grab, and fits between the closure at the top of the boot for secure… Continue Reading »
