Dorky photos from my ride out on the Rattler today. For a beat up 1980 XS400, it sure still kicks some corner ass. I’ve found a new favorite route very near my house, 45 miles of twisties and nicely paved road. Part of which includes the somewhat famous ‘Bull Run’ road.

Had my first welding lesson Friday night at Bridge City with Jeff Wolf (thanks man!) and did alright I guess. First weld was ok, next few were kind of shit while I was playing around, then I started getting better. I’m most proud of the shark fin weld (pictured above).

Well this is kind of ironic and infuriating. I posted this collage of photos with my blog post yesterday entitled, “Responsibilities of a Blogger: Shares/Reposts & Crediting” which was then ripped, reposted/reblogged without a single link back or any inclination of credit by “Big Boyz Toyz” tumblr.
