I managed to get video of Bill Dixon’s second run at the XDL Stunt Championship finals. He won the championship… fourth year in a row! Even if you’re not into motorcycle stunting this is worth a watch. Bike control is one of the most important aspects of being a good rider… does that make BIll the best?! Isle of Vashion TT 2012: Angry Bird Caught in Flight
Someone caught a photo of me riding through a gentle corner at Isle of Vashon! One hand on my camera, naturally.
Chris came over today to help us wrench on Justin’s bike. New 4 into 1 exhaust meant new header gaskets, cutting/dremmeling out the airbox, installing pod air filters, andĀ re-jettingĀ the carbs. I took photos with my real camera that I’m sure will end up here, but in the mean time here’s some cool instagram shots.
Over 15 of us Rockers (check out the website) planned to attend VME’s Isle of Man TT, but we all had different schedules and needs for getting up there. Most folks trailered their not-so-reliable vintage bikes while the left over few rode. Here’s video of us trusty six all riding by the truck+trailer on the freeway (we just happened to pass them, how strangeā¦)! I think I’m pretty obviousā¦ the lady in red.
