Hi! I am very glad to hear you had your first moto experience, loved it, and want to get into it more! Furthermore, one of the reasons I made this website is so that women could explore the idea of riding more easily and see that it isn’t a restrictive hobby, nor is riding a “death wish”. You can ride whatever you want however you want, so that it fits your personal style and needs!
Make sure to use your resources; take rider training when you are ready to get your own motorcycle, test out a few different types of bikes with various riding positions, and don’t let anyone discourage you from getting whatever bike you want! Whether it be small and light, a heavy cruiser, or a really fast sport bike.
Hope to see you on the road soon! Send me pictures when you’ve snagged your first bike.
I’m so excited to announce the project that I’ve been working on for two years… a book all about badass motorcycling women! In the MotoLady’s Book of Women Who Ride you’ll meet 74 of the most influencial motorcyclists of the last century. Motorcycle heroes, trailblazers, and record-breakers like Jessi Combs, Shayna Texter, Laia Sanz, Gloria Tramontin-Struck, the Van Buren sisters, and more can be found inside the 184 pages of this hard cover book celebrating motorcycling women!
