A rainbow with the Brough Superior vintage motorcycle on the Bonneville Salt Flats, UT

Electric Streamliner Killajole – Hit over 200 mph
Phil Hawkins is magical with his camera on the Bonneville Salt Flats– these shots were captured at the 2013 BUB Motorcycle Speed trials, which was sadly rained out on Wednesday (half way through the event).
While an utter bummer for anyone trying to break world land speed records, it’s a beautiful sight for the rest of us. “There’d be no rainbows without rain” as they say.

I’m so excited to announce the project that I’ve been working on for two years… a book all about badass motorcycling women! In the MotoLady’s Book of Women Who Ride you’ll meet 74 of the most influencial motorcyclists of the last century. Motorcycle heroes, trailblazers, and record-breakers like Jessi Combs, Shayna Texter, Laia Sanz, Gloria Tramontin-Struck, the Van Buren sisters, and more can be found inside the 184 pages of this hard cover book celebrating motorcycling women!
