Photos from the Building Speed art exhibit at Graeter Art Gallery (on July 5th, 2012).
It was really packed opening day and therefore hard to get good photos. On display were Dave Roper’s 1960s leathers, 50s Langlitz racing leathers, historical photos, motorcycles, and some awesome shots my friend Anthony Mautemps took (and countless other goodies). Anthony helped organize this whole show.
Bessie Stringfield fought for civil rights and equality by doing what she loved despite the struggles and danger that came with riding motorcycles.
