People, this is real- Volkswagen is talking about putting a Ducati 1199 Panigale engine in a car. While a base model fancy hybrid car called the XL1 will hit the Geneva convention, they’re now discussing an XL Sport model equipped with the aforementioned Panigale superquadro engine. It sounds like this car won’t make it to production, but still… I find this intriguing for countless reasons, especially because Ducati was purchased by Audi/Volkswagen while I was working at the Ducati dealership (MotoCorsa). Many people wondered if VW might try to influece the engineering… Continue Reading »

Reviewing the Infamous NYC SUV / Motorcycle Road Race Incident
At first I almost wanted to avoid posting the video of the SUV running over the motorcyclist and then getting pulled out of his car because it was all over the internet already and I’m really not one to “beat a dead horse”. However, after countless people have sent it to be or asked my opinion I figured it’s time to unleash the verbal beat down (on everyone involved). Every report I’ve read about it on huge news sites has been incredibly biased. Post script addition: Seriously people, I’m not on the… Continue Reading »
When I saw Quentin Wilson post a photo of the project he was working on I almost choked on my coffee- a Ducati 1199 Panigale set up for adventure riding. Q is just crazy enough to do this kind of thing, get muddy, have fun, and smile for days after… so I was more than excited to see the outcome. Well, a couple weeks later here’s a great shot from Arun Sharma of the knobby-sporting TerraCorsa all muddy and used. See more photos on MotoCorsa.com of this genius madness.

The Woman Behind the Women’s Moto Exhibit
My friends, I have featured Lanakila MacNaughton’s photography from her project the Women’s Moto Exhibit many many times, but this time you get to see the woman behind the lens. This look behind the scenes literally gave me goosebumps- Austin Will perfectly captured the essence of art, artist, and subjects. I got chills and they’re multiplyin’! “I’m shooting medium format… film on Hassleblad. I’m manually focusing on a moving at 40 or 50 miles an hour.” For those of you who haven’t fiddled with this style photography (or even much at all… Continue Reading »
Artist: Allison Rose Lear
Delaware based Allison Rose Lear is a motorcyclist, artist, and more. (Photograph by Lanakila MacNaughton of the Women’s Moto Exhibit.) Her art is timeless, detailed, and striking. She recently showed some very large pieces at the LOADED show in Delaware, put on by Cafe Racer XXX and Loaded Gun Customs at the Terraplane art gallery. Allison told me that most of her art is done on large wooden panels with acrylic paint, accompanied by a simple wooden frame. Showcasing her passion for cafe racers and simple but classic art… she brings a… Continue Reading »
Hi there, my friend has been trying to find the ‘Every Man Dies but not Every Man Truly Lives’ poster here in the UK. We cannot find a print to purchase anywhere, are you able to point me in the right direction as, I see you have the graphic? Many thanks in advance
The “Every man dies, but not every man truly lives” graphic appeared to be a scan from a screenprint on cloth, probably a tshirt. Unfortunately it is one of the photos I could not find an original source for (I just reverse image searched it again and am finding my page shows the oldest instance of the image) but I don’t know where to find the original image/graphic and if it’s a poster or not. The quote was originally “Every man dies, not every man really lives” and said by William Wallace,… Continue Reading »
