Sitting at a stop light near my house while running errands today I spotted a group of bobbers rolling past heading toward Downtown Ventura. After stopping by the gas station I rolled down Main Street to see if I could spot them and take some photos… lo! There they were!

Yet Another Reason We Should All Wear Cameras
A 25 year old Australian, Chris Porter, recorded a collision with an elderly gentleman on a helmet-mounted GoPro camera. The footage ended up saving him an insurance nightmare and thousands of dollars. Yet another reason we should all wear video cameras like GoPro or Contour whenever we ride. Evening Post- August 12, 1899, “Thrashed by a Lady Cyclist”. An extraordinary scene was witnessed on Saturday morning in Peel Lane, a thoroughfare connecting Little Hulton with Tyldesley, in which the principal participants were a young lady cyclist and a youth of nineteen or twenty. The lady was riding at a good pace, and when in a quiet part of the road the young man, who had apparently been imbibing, stepped into the roadway, and, addressing some insulting remarks to the cyclist, made as if he intended pulling her off the machine….
