“Hyper Devil” Ducati ST2 Custom
The “Hyper Devil” is another crazy Ducati motorcycle custom. My reaction to this was reminiscent of the Monster Chopper I posted a while back. While I think the Monster chop is much more my style in it’s simplicity and flowing lines, I do have to appreciate the race inspired cruiser feel of this ST2 custom. Click the link below for thoughts from the builder, more pictures, etc.
From the builder-
I came across a wrecked Ducati ST2 and it started from there. I didn’t want to make a Harley look alike and I know the paint is cruiser like but if you look closely at the bike you will see I kept and added many Ducati & race inspired parts. Like Ohlins R&T forks, Penske Rear Shock, Speedymoto Pressure Plate & slave cylinder, milled clutch engine side cover, billet oil filter, Billet Belt cover, Moto Master front rotors and a Gaffer rear rotor, Motocyco Grenade reservoir, Beringer billet Brake and Clutch master cylinders, MadDuc Rear Caliper Mount, Wheels are from a MH900E, I kept the Ducati 916 SBK rear single sided swing arm.
This muscle sport bike only weights 350 lbs and is reported to have pretty good handling. The back tire is a 190, and still has it’s brembo caliper.
Custom frame, altered fuel tank, custom trees and exhaust… the only thing stock left on this bike is the neck.
Again, this bike is not my style. I find the paint job to be over the top in a so bad it’s just bad way. But I really have to extend props to Ricky Gonzales for pulling off such a unique bike.
I absolutely love his matching retro Ducati jacket and Italia half helmet.
