Twenty previously unreleased photos with the MotoLady built custom Ducati Monster by the incredibly talented photographer Jimmy Ban!
If you aren’t yet familiar with the GT-MotoLady MV Agusta project- you can read the introduction article here. But to catch you up, Sofi Tsingos (GT-Moto) and MotoLady have joined forces for this year’s charity build. Putting our heads together with help from MV Agusta (thanks guys, you rock!) we got our hands on a perfectly good 2013 MV Agusta Brutale 800 and went to work.
Sitting down together discussing the style we were looking for, it wasn’t long before we had a sketch on paper and a plan of attack in place. Next thing you knew, the MV was in pieces and the process had begun. Our original reveal date had to be pushed due to unforseen circumstances, so the rolling chassis went with Sofi to Barber for a partial reveal.
Travis Holland was able to get some great progress shots for us to share with you- bubble whirlwind and all.
Stay tuned for more updates on the process, and in the mean time, please share this project and pick up raffle tickets for yourself- though the MotoLady shop page, or the rafflecreator page directly! The profits are going to an amazing cause- St. Jude’s! We chose this charity because they’re one of the most transparent in how they use the money donated to their non-profit, as well as the fact that those who get treated at their hospital for cancer never receive a bill. A life saver in more ways than one.
The winning ticket for the finished motorcycle will be drawn in April, 2017.
GT-Moto and MotoLady understand that not everyone is interested in motorcycles. But this project is not just for the motorcycle enthusiast. It is for anyone who has been or knows someone affected by cancer. It is for anyone who is going through a tough time and wants to read other’s stories, help show support for loved ones, and find support for themselves. Not only is it hard to be the one fighting cancer, it is just as hard watching a loved one go through the fight hoping that there will be more good days than bad.
GT-MotoLady was formed from a passion for Motorsports and the desire to introduce women and men of all ages to this exciting community through an all-inclusive, no stress environment. Cancer is a scourge that has deeply affected all of us. We believe a cure is possible and as our loved ones have fought and continue fight on so shall we!
Are you curious about just exactly what the finished Brutale will look like? Well, thanks to industrial designer Domenick Schulz, we’re able to show you. Yes, it will be split right down the middle… looking like two different bikes in one!
