Photos from the Building Speed art exhibit at Graeter Art Gallery (on July 5th, 2012). It was really packed opening day and therefore hard to get good photos. On display were Dave Roper’s 1960s leathers, 50s Langlitz racing leathers, historical photos, motorcycles, and some awesome shots my friend Anthony Mautemps took (and countless other goodies). Anthony helped organize this whole show.

My absolute favorite shot from the entire trip… Mark Bjorklund taking off for his return run on the short international track. Green flag in the background and all. He’s on the Sodium Distortion Ducati S4Rs 1000cc A-AG class salt racer by Super Rat from Bellingham, WA. (Click the link for more a closer look at the bike on MotoCorsa’s website.) He knocked out a record that stood since 1975 at 166.3mph (267.6kph).

BUB Speed Trials- Filming with Chad De Rosa

Some shenanigans from today. Chad DeRosa, photographer/videographer extraordinaire is in the plane, getting some aerial shots of Mark Bjorklund riding the Sodium Distortion Ducati S4RS salt racer. He hit 166mph on the flats today.

Size Isn’t Everything- Leslie Proves It

Leslie Hubbard Kramer on her Ducati 848 EVO at the last MotoCorsa trackday. You may remember seeing Leslie’s photo from the MotoCorsa red room where I mentioned she is 4’11”. Her bike has been lowered a couple inches, but it still has approximately a 30-31” seat height.
