Sometimes you really have to love social media. Scrolling through facebook I saw this lovely graphic for the Top Dead Center motorcycle show. Motorcycles? Free beer? DJ? Ehem, yes please! ‘Twas about 7pm when I arrived, beautiful sunset golden hour in downtown Portland. There was a slight line out the door as we waited to write our names down on the free raffle tickets for a Chrome bag. Bikes lined the street outside, no where near to capacity. A couple of my favorite motoladies and I at Tuesday Night Coffee last week- a weekly motorcycle gathering just outside of Portland. Photos from the ride yesterday to Sauvie Island and Skyline, 13 bikes… mostly vintage. If my favorite meal were smoke, today would have been perfect… I was eating it behind Alex’s bike up front. As he said, “Hope you guys liked the smell of that bel ray two stroke oil today, my wee 350 used all it’s ponies setting pace!” I was always hesitant to go on group rides with more than 4 or 5 people because I thought logistics of riding with so many people would be difficult.
