Lots of bikes out and about today and a lovely 90 mile jaunt on the Maxim. Ended up stopping at Skyline Tavern because there were so many people there (about 4 more than pictured). Best thing about riding today (besides riding in general) was getting to wear my short leather gloves. So much more comfy than the winter gloves I have.

Monster Project: Phase 11

My process for this phase of the Monster Project included putting on the front end, taking it off, putting it on again… over and over. The object of this was to find out where the triple clamps were hitting the ignition mount, grind it out, and mark where the steering stop needs to go.

Zero Motorcycles (cool electric motorcycle company) came through MotoCorsa (the awesome Ducati dealership I work at) today to show off their stuff. I got to test ride the Zero S, one of the more powerful models… it was fun, zippy, and wasn’t rickety at 70mph as you’d expect from something so light and quiet. Whirrrrrrrzzzzt! That’s the sound Kevin is making in the background through that squished up bratty mouth of his… (Photobomb! haha..)
