The Venice Vintage Motorcycle Rally is basically a carnival for motorcyclists. Fun, games, live music, drunken debauchery, amazing motorcycles… it even has a strongman.

The Handbuilt Motorcycle Show 2014
Pandora and I were unable to make it to the Handbuilt Motorcycle Show in Austin, Texas on April 11th and 12th this year. The event is snuggled up to MotoGP and features the Wall of Death, a full bar, and works of Shinya Kimura, Walt Siegl, Revival Cycles, Boyle Custom Moto, and one of my favorite motoladies Sofi Tsingos plus a ton of other talented folks. Sofi and Brandon LaJoie of GT Moto (website) helped out with some awesome photos and words on the event. “First, I would like to say how mind… Continue Reading »
End of the World Ride & Last Party on Earth
Let me tell you what… planning a party all by yourself is absolutely crazy. But when better to lose your mind than right before the supposed end of the world? Thanks for that, Mayans. More photos and fun stuff behind the cut below. It was definitely a good night. Unfortunately despite charging the TDM, jumping and bumping it… the thing just would not start. The battery was way too dead. So basically I had to appoint Brianna Robbins the End of the World Ride leader. About 30 bikes took off from See… Continue Reading »
BLACK MASS Custom Chopper Show
Sometimes I look at my life and get slapped in the face by gratefulness. Look at these beautiful ladies I got to arrive to BLACK MASS with! Like the Charlie’s Angels of the motorcycle world. Stormie Ray, Jada Noriyuki, and myself. I’m a bit behind in bloggery, so this event is actually from October 26th, 2012. Better late than never, right? Photos of all the lovely bikes and such behind the cut… The Bridge City Cycles bike was quite lovely. It was really quite packed so I hung outside for a while… Continue Reading »
In the fall of 2010, two best friends quit their jobs and bought vintage motorcycles to embark on a 13,000 mile tour of America. Bringing nothing but questionable riding experience, little money, impractical food choices, a vague speedometer, gas gauges that are neither here nor there, misguided priorities, and a blurred sense of reality. > “How’s your bike’s off road capability?” < “POOR. Now help me pick this shit up.” This show is freaking hilarious. Y’all best check it out. (Season 1 Video Playlist on Dailymotion) (Source: http://www.dailymotion.com/)
Top Dead Center Motorcycle Show
Sometimes you really have to love social media. Scrolling through facebook I saw this lovely graphic for the Top Dead Center motorcycle show. Motorcycles? Free beer? DJ? Ehem, yes please! ‘Twas about 7pm when I arrived, beautiful sunset golden hour in downtown Portland. There was a slight line out the door as we waited to write our names down on the free raffle tickets for a Chrome bag. Bikes lined the street outside, no where near to capacity. It filled up more later, but this show was definitely circled by some hipsters… Continue Reading »
