MotoCorsa is doing some rad stuff. If you don’t already know, I’m no longer working there. Not since last December- but that’s not the point. The point is my friend Taylor Ramsauer (Garage 6) is working on a lot of their projects now. People, this is real- Volkswagen is talking about putting a Ducati 1199 Panigale engine in a car. While a base model fancy hybrid car called the XL1 will hit the Geneva convention, they’re now discussing an XL Sport model equipped with the aforementioned Panigale superquadro engine. It sounds like this car won’t make it to production, but still… I find this intriguing for countless reasons, especially because Ducati was purchased by Audi/Volkswagen while I was working at the Ducati dealership (MotoCorsa). When I saw Quentin Wilson post a photo of the project he was working on I almost choked on my coffee- a Ducati 1199 Panigale set up for adventure riding. Q is just crazy enough to do this kind of thing, get muddy, have fun, and smile for days after… so I was more than excited to see the outcome. Another Sociopath Behind the Wheel…
Can anyone identify this man? Perhaps one of you works with him somewhere in the Seattle/Tri-Cities area… and can look him dead in the face and remind him that motorcyclists are people too? And that what he did was not only life threatening, but absolutely sociopathic?
