This new LumiLor™ Electroluminescent Coating System is pretty amazing. Complicated and expensive, but amazing. It is not glow in the dark, it’s an actual paint that lights up. Upon one of visits to Icon’s HQ in Portland, I saw a very cool Airframe Construct with impact statistics labeled on different areas of the helmet. Today, the Icon Airframe Statistic helmet is available to anyone who wants to express (without words) why they choose to wear a full face. Honestly, I’d just love to have one on display in the shop. Meandering through instagram tags and keywords I came across this photo of Marissa Cianciulli which I found particularly striking. She emailed it to me with some details about herself. It’s always nice to include some sort of background with photos of these ladies- to me it gives you a better understanding of the humans inside the helmets, the people riding around you.
