Loomis Dean lived from 1917 to 2005 and captured everything from Circus Clowns to Hollywood stars in his five decade long photography career. He especially loved photographing motorcycles and women, especially real women who ride.

East Side Moto Babes are hosting the 5th annual Babes on Motos event in LA on Sunday, August 3rd from 2-6pm at the Desano Pizzeria Napoletana. I challenge you to take a more American photo than this fantastic shot of Sanna Maria and Jessica McLean from San Diego. Two of my favorite ladies, and it’s pretty obvious why. We got a ’50s Ford shoebox with a megachop, big guns, old school Harley chopper, cowboy hat, camo, American flag tank top, daisy dukes, my god people how much more can one photo scream, “USA”? If you somehow manage an even more Patriotic image featuring ladies and motorcycles, go ahead and send it my way on the submit page.
Flashback Friday: Touratech Troublemaking
A year ago I found myself a couple of rad troublemaker motoladies. I actually never shared the super fun photos of Karissa, Angel, and I riding minibikes at the Touratech ADV Moto Rally last year (which is going on right now and I so wish I was there). We got yelled at and chased across the camp- when Karissa and Angel looked back and said “Let’s get out of here!” I couldn’t help but follow. I mean, come on… I’m usually the bad influence.
